Study

Guest post of the week by Deangelo Spencer

My awesome husband is supposed to be seriously studying his little butt off to take his big licensing exam at the end of the month. He’s got these huge books, a whole cd computer program, and binder after binder after binder to study. All in all, I think the materials and the test itself will cost about $500 in the end. He’s set up this little area of the house with two desks put together in an “L” shape, and this is where he keeps all his study supplies. I’m proud of him, and how hard he is working. I do have to say, though, when I get on the computer the next day, I see that he has been to http://www.Direc4u.com/, and facebook, and yahoo, so I know he’s not just studying! LOL! I don’t blame him, though. It is tough to have to work on the same exact device that has all kinds of entertainment. I’m going to tell him that I’m going to install a internet blocker if he doesn’t focus! LOL!

Movies

Guest written by our friend Katie Callahan

I have not been to a movie at the movie theater in several months. Actually, now that I think about it, I have not been to a movie at a theater in over a year. I have two children, ages two and six months who are very attached to me and I cannot leave them with anyone for over an hour before all heck breaks loose. My husband asked his mom to keep our kids last night so we could go see a movie and I was so relieved when she agreed to do it. I knew that the kids would be fine for a couple of hours. The only issue was getting someone to agree to keep the kids even though our baby will not take a bottle for anyone but me. I’m so glad we have internet from Kansas City Clear because my husband was able to go online to find out movie times. We were able to go to an early movie and ended up not having to have his mom get the kids ready for bed. It is such a hassle to feed and bathe the kids and put them to bed, so we would just rather do that ourselves. I enjoyed the movie and I do not have to let another year go by before I make it back to the movie theater.

Save On Prescription

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The city of Scranton is one of the largest elderly population in Pennsylvania. Most of these elderly people are taking multiple medications everyday due to multiple disorders. I have work in the hospital and see elderly people and even younger ones admitted for medical reasons. We have taken our health for granted. Prescriptions are very expensive but the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club will help them lower the cost and save tons of money. For as low as $35 membership fee per year which benefit the entire family including your spouse, dependents 22 and younger plus your beloved pet is also covered. It will only cost $20 for individuals who would like to join. You will also get bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services. Why wait for tomorrow? Join today and receive discount prices on your prescription.

You will save on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications. The good news for diabetic patients is, nebulizers and diabetic supplies are discounted including flu shots. The good thing about Walgreens is they have the store all over United States. It is very convenient.

Tips About Dallas Living

Thanks to Wm Rowe

There are so many things to do when you are moving that it really just gets overwhelming. My husband’s company just told us that he is getting transferred to Dallas, so I need to get cracking on moving arrangements. There is so much to do that I don’t even know where to start! We’re pretty excited about the move and are looking forward to living in a new and interesting place. We have never lived in Texas before so we need to do a lot of research on what things will cost. A coworker told my husband that Dallas Texas electricity rates may vary because consumers have a choice of who they buy their energy from. This is definitely a new concept to me. It’s crazy how much real estate prices and cost of living can vary in different places. It’s nice to have people we can turn to at my husband’s company for advice on what it’s like in Dallas. Sometimes I don’t know what I’d do without them. The information you get from locals is almost always much better than anything you can find online.
